Tired

I am tired of being awake.
hours and hours. days and days.
I am tired of feeling like,
my mind, my thoughts. my heart.
are wrong. so easily tossed aside.
I am tired of standing in the dark.
even when the sun is shining.
I am tired of aching and thinking.
being reminded of how easy it is.
to loose everything.
I am tired of the what I see.
when it's not the evil monkeys hear.
I am tired of the silence.
between nowhere and a tower fell.
I am tired of feeling like I can't speak
rant. rumble and scream to heaven.
call to the stars and sky.
I am tired of the truth of the matter.
forgotten. replaced. lost.
I am tired of being awake.
days and days, hours and hours.
yet the worms creep and vultures come.
and I am tired of the dreams.
