Work History
UX/UI Designer
Stage 4 Solutions, Inc. - Harrisburg, PA
February 2022 - February 2025
Working as a UX/UI Designer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I applied my understanding of modern and human centered design, as well as accessibility awareness across several projects. From wire-frame design, advising on user experiences and interfaces, to testing for accessibility, I have leveraged my capabilities across several existing products both public facing and internal, as well as created UX and UI for new commonwealth initiatives.
During my time with the commonwealth I provided design and solutions for several products: KEES, FMR, HSIP, SCMS, & PDIF.
Some of my accomplishments are:
- Lobbying for “Reasonable Accommodation” awareness regarding the accessibility of an internal product I was asked to consult on outside of the scope of assigned products. I assisted with design concepts, UX and accessibility guidance, and mock-ups for the Segment Change Management System (SCMS).
- Created a design guide and supporting Figma assets for developers, and developed high-def wire-frame mock-up assets for a public product on which accessibility was a priority. I worked with the development team to create a high quality product that was both equitable and accessible. (Road Use Fee)
- Worked as the primary UX designer for the Find My Ride team across several updates to the service. Using my capabilities to enable people to access and find services in the commonwealth is a definite feel good experience. Having the opportunity to leverage my skills in creating wire-frames, working with developers, and creating updated digital assets when needed, has been a highlight of my work as a consultant for the Commonwealth.
- Spearheaded a new public facing product for the Highway Safety and Improvement Project (HSIP) by leveraging the Keystone Design System toolkit and several creative adjustments to accommodate unique requirement needs of the system and users for submitting, editing, amending, and tracking HSIP applications. I created high-def wire-frame mock-ups to share with business stakeholders, made adjustments based on feedback from stakeholders and the developers, and was able to create a visually appealing and modernized solution.
